It is not unusual for a Gorean, many Goreans, but particularly a guardsman, or a warrior, to carry various items of restraint or control in his pouch, for example, thongs, binding fiber, slave bracelets, thumb cuffs, a leash and collar, a nose ring and cord, such things.
