Slaves, incidentally, may attend various such functions, particularly those intended for a general audience. Indeed, sometimes masters, with their individual slave or slaves, and even owners of feast slaves, managers of slave houses, taverns, brothels, and such, will bring a chain of slaves to various events, such as races, contests, games or performances.
