I do not know how he had then attired himself in Ar, nor what identity he might have assumed, though one supposes it might have been of the Merchants, the richest caste. I would not be recognized either, for, in our peregrination afoot to the tarn cot, I had been placed in a body hood, in which, indeed, I would spend much of the journey.
