Amongst these, I suppose, was Dorna the Proud. She was now the slave of Pa-Kur, of the Assassins. I did not know how she had come into his possession, where or how he might have seized or purchased her. But now, clearly, it was his collar on her neck. I did not doubt that he had "found her flanks of interest," as the masters say, but I suspected her value to him went far beyond her desperate attempt to please him fully and perfectly in the furs.
